MaxDecals Material Advisor — Materials, Samples and Store Cash

MaxDecals Material Advisor

Practical material and sample guidance for print shops. Start with your project, then check the complete print-and-laminate system before production.

What should I tell the advisor?

Tell us the application, exact surface and condition, flat/simple/compound curves or recesses, indoor/outdoor exposure, desired service duration, finish, printer model and ink type, laminate, quantity and timing. Ask one question at a time; incomplete information may require follow-up.

White gloss or holographic?

MXPG100 provides a white gloss printable foundation. MXPH100 provides a laser-silver holographic gloss effect. Choose the visual finish first; print a representative design to check color, white-ink requirements, profile, curing, lamination and cutting. A finish preference alone does not approve the application.

These values are from the supplied manufacturer Technical Data Sheets, issued March 2024. The product number is not the measured face thickness: MXPG100 and MXPH100 are specified as 90 μm. View the full technical sheets for conditions and limitations. TDS values are reference data, not a job-specific warranty.

Roll sizes and samples

MXPG100 and MXPH100 currently list a 54 in × 160 ft Standard Roll at $475 USD and a 24 in × 50 ft Sample Roll at $200 USD. Prices and selectable formats may change; the live product variant controls the checkout offer. The supplied TDS lists a 50 in × 164 ft manufacturer master roll. The 54 in sales listing is wider than that TDS; ask our team to confirm the actual supplied width for width-critical jobs before ordering. Do not convert or equate these formats.

A sample roll is a paid product, not a free sample pack. Smaller sample pieces require team confirmation of availability, cost and shipping; no automatic free pack or shipment is promised.

Printer and substrate compatibility

Existing printer-brand articles are general workflow guidance. They are not certification that every MXPG100 or MXPH100 batch works on every eco-solvent, latex, UV, UVgel or aqueous printer. Confirm printer model, ink and settings, and test the complete construction. Do not assume ordinary office aqueous inkjet compatibility.

Flat, smooth panels can be evaluated as candidate applications. Compound curves, deep channels, rivets, textured/flexible surfaces and low-surface-energy plastics require specific technical approval or representative testing. High tack does not guarantee adhesion to polyethylene, polypropylene, contaminated paint or all motorcycle plastics. Air-egress, stretch percentage, post-heat temperature and residue-free removal are not established by the supplied TDS. Request a technical review rather than inventing a value.

Choosing a protection layer

MXOG60/MXOS60 are 60 μm PVC overlaminates; MXTG350/MXTS350 are 350 μm EVA overlaminates. Gloss and satin are finish choices. The thicker EVA construction can affect stiffness, cutting and conformability; thickness alone does not establish abrasion, deep-recess or impact approval. These are protection films, not the printable face stock. Confirm availability and test the pairing before purchasing for production.

Durability and warranty questions

Service life depends on orientation, exposure, geography, surface, print/laminate construction, installation and maintenance. The TDS has exposure-dependent reference tables and disclaimers. A general “five years” statement is not an unconditional warranty or a guarantee for a California horizontal application. Ask the team for applicable written terms and test requirements.

$50 Welcome Cash / Store Cash

Claim $50 Welcome Cash once per customer account. This is MaxDecals store credit saved to the customer's account, not a discount code or withdrawable cash. Sign in with the same email and select “Apply store credit” at checkout. Use it toward sample rolls or full products; unused credit stays in the account. It is valid only at MaxDecals and cannot be used at other stores.

At current pricing, applying $50 to a $200 sample roll leaves $150 in product cost before any shipping and tax. Do not promise free shipping, a free sample roll, another credit allocation or a completed order. An email verification code signs you into your account; it is not a coupon code. The advisor cannot issue credit, approve refunds or confirm a personal balance without the relevant account verification.

Human follow-up

For unresolved compatibility, unusual surfaces, width confirmation, smaller samples, bulk quotes, warranty or order concerns, ask to speak with our team in the chat. Share your project and email. Our team usually replies within 24–48 hours; this is a normal follow-up timeframe, not a promise of immediate live staffing. You can also use the contact form.
